Invest Gold Coast will attend the METSTRADE Show in Amsterdam from 17-19 November 2026. This is the world’s leading platform and largest exhibition of marine equipment, materials, and systems in the world. The Invest Gold Coast stand will be within the Australian Pavilion. Gold Coast marine businesses are invited to join us on our stand.

About the trade show

METSTRADE is the world’s leading platform and largest exhibition of marine equipment, materials, and systems in the world. This international B2B exhibition for the marine leisure industry has served as a platform for innovation, market developments and networking since 1988. 

The 2024 METSTRADE 3-day trade show saw a significant increase in both total visits and unique visitors, making it the most attended edition in the show’s history. There were 31,824 visits from 19,779 unique attendees representing 134 nationalities, with 1600 exhibitors, across 12 halls. 

METSTRADE 2026 dives into cutting-edge technologies, connects with industry leaders, and inspires in the 13 halls at RAI Convention Centre Amsterdam. The key themes are emerging technologies, sustainability and accessibility and inclusion. This is an opportunity to connect, showcase and drive your business forward in the global leisure marine sector.  

There are 5 specialised pavilions - Superyacht Zone, Marina and Yard Zone, Construction Materials, Start-ups, Foiling Technology Zone - with each offering smaller self-contained shows.

  • Connect Gold Coast businesses to a key global market.
  • Promote Gold Coast marine businesses as world leaders in the marine sector including a destination for the maintenance, repair, and on-boarding of superyachts as well as showcasing a Gold Coast marine capability video during the event.
  • Promote the Gold Coast marine business equipment, materials and systems available to the global marine industry.
  • Promote the new marine infrastructure developments on the Gold Coast and opportunities for vessels leading into the Brisbane 2032 Olympic and Paralympic Games.
  • Increase the volume of exports and exporters on the Gold Coast.

The METSTRADE 2026 Trade Mission is focused on Australia's Gold Coast trade stand in Amsterdam. It is designed to support the Gold Coast's marine sector and encourage exports from the city. The trade stand will support local marine products and services businesses to connect with buyers, partners and service providers from across the globe. The stand will be within the Australian Pavilion.

While the trade show is held in Amsterdam, METSTRADE is a global hub event attracting serious buyers and suppliers worldwide.

Access to leverage the trade stand for meetings and connections, without an exhibition display. This is ideal for emerging brands wanting to investigate the market before launching or established brands visiting the market for meetings. You will be asked to upload your company’s logo, image and copy at time of your expression of interest. 

Successful companies are required to attend the pre-departure briefing. Attending the show includes help from our appointed marine representative attending the trade mission.

Support includes:

  • Access show tickets for one company representative.
  • Use of the group stand for meetings.
  • Individual company included in event PR.
  • Individual company logo on video reel shown on stand.
  • Access to networking opportunities.
  • Access to group accommodation rates.
  • Support includes $1000 travel subsidy payable on completion of post-mission outcome survey

Australian International Marine Export Group has secured a group accommodation rate with Kimpton DeWitt Hotels. The group stayed there for METSTRADE 2025. 

Superyacht/AIMEX members can access a group discount, please book using this direct reservation link to Kimpton Hotels . The discount will automatically apply. Businesses exhibiting at Australia’s Gold Coast trade stand are not required to stay at this hotel.

  • Participants to fund and book their own flights, accommodation, freight and other costs associated with travel to Amsterdam.
  • Participants must agree to all mission terms and conditions.
  • Exhibitors must attend the pre-departure session.
  • Exhibitors must attend a welcome networking event at the METSTRADE Show.
